Dan (Hair Man Dan)
Stylist and Salon Owner
Dan has been a hairdresser for 17 years and opened Tease Salon in January 2007!
He has been an educator for Goldwell and Label M which has allowed him to work and learn from amazing individuals in the industry. He decided to step away from that to focus on his children, salon and staff. He keeps in contact with those he’s worked with which allows us to bring wonderful information into the salon. He has traveled the country for education.
He loves cutting and coloring, and loves bobs!
“I love being able to bring education in every year for our staff. I’m very fortunate to love what I do and work with people that I love; both my clients and my staff. Having a team that voluntarily takes on responsibilities of the salon, I’ve been able to create a much better balance between working behind the chair and working in the office. Tease has evolved into a VERY collaborative, creative environment. We work together a lot when planning a route for our clients regardless of our educational background or years of experience under our belt.”
Stylist and Cut Educator
Josh studied at Pivot Point International Academy Headquarters under Leo Passage. During his time there he was honored with the NAHA Beacon Award for new and upcoming stylists. After completing his Cosmetology Licensure he continued on with a two-year “Dry Cutting” apprenticeship. Now at Tease, he continues his education and experience in cutting, color, and styling, and is the Cut Educator for the salon.
Josh truly enjoys educating a client, and views his job as not only to complete a finished, polished look for you, the client, but to provide you with the tools to execute the look you desire, and what we do at the salon, at home.
Hair has always been his first love, and he specializes in drying cutting techiques, short and long women’s hair, and men’s classic styles. He also loves coloring ombres, sombres, and brunettes.
Stylist and Color Educator
Joe knew when he was just four years old that when he grew up he wanted to do hair. Many Barbie heads suffered hair experiments at the hands of Joe (i.e. sharpie and Clorox). Joe started working at Tease six years ago, and immediately felt at home. Dan was a very welcoming and nurturing mentor, and he’s grateful for the opportunities he’s been given through Dan and Tease. Along with being a stylist, Joe manages our updo anc color education program run through the salon.
Joe loves doing corrective color, and hopes to help you achieve your wildest color fantasies!
